List of AIS Messages
The following is a list of current messages applicable to the Automatic Identification System.
For additional information on AIS messages including related technical definitions, please consult Annex 8 of the International Telecommunication Union’s Recommendation M.1371-5 – Technical characteristics for an automatic identification system using time division multiple access in the VHF maritime mobile band.
